The Symphony No 3 was written in the spring of 1970 and first performed by the Washington State University Orchestra in the spring of 1971 under Dr Martin-Beatus Meyer. In one continuous movement, it does not follow the more expansive forms of the traditional symphony but instead attempts to express the an emotional world in a highly concentrated strokes.
